Every piece and space in a home should tell a story of the places you've been, and how your life has unfolded.

For over 20 years, my work had me traveling constantly around the globe. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience all that the world has to offer. I collected many experiences and pieces along the way that fill my home today. Above my sofa is an abstract landscape of The Hagia Sophia, that I fell in love with on a trip to Istanbul. The canvas tightly was rolled and stuffed into a tube that accompanied me on my flight home.

Displayed in my dining area is a Brancusi Kiss sculpture (above) that my husband and I acquired at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, a replacement for a piece of jewelry that he had gifted me years earlier, and that I was heartbroken that I had lost.

At a restaurant in LA I sat transfixed across from a painting of a gold nude silhouette. I was able to convince the restauranteur to sell it to me (not your usual doggie bag!). It was at a very important time in my career, so this piece brings me warm memories of joy and success.

Everything in my home is very personal, reminders of important life moments that are scenes in my personal story.

This is why I take very seriously the opportunity to work with a client on their home. Their homes are personal too. Design aesthetics aside, the essence of what we do is to create spaces that reflect our clients and their lives, that are not enslaved to a particular trend and will last a lifetime, just as their most important memories will.
